Conflict resolution<\/h1>\n

Mediation is a structured, voluntary process for the constructive resolution of a conflict, in which independent, \u201cimpartial\u201d third parties (mediators) support the parties in their conflict-resolution process. <\/span>The parties to the conflict, also known as mediation participants, seek to reach a mutual agreement that reflects their needs and interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a mediator, I work in accordance with the German Mediation Act, which guarantees independence and confidentiality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conflict situations that are often addressed through mediation include:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Conflicts between companies<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conflicts between individuals, both private and professional<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Conflicts within groups and teams<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Neighbourhood disputes<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Family conflicts, e.g. in cases of inheritance or separation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Prevention<\/h1>\n

    There are situations in which no conflict has (yet) arisen, but it can be helpful to bring the parties\u2019 different positions together and find a shared perspective.<\/p>\n

    Situations suitable for such a process include the conflict contexts mentioned above, as well as:<\/p>\n

    • Business succession<\/li>\n
    • Establishing a shared flat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
