Integrated Workshop Program

Professional development is only worthwhile when it is integrated into everyday practice. The integrated workshop program is designed for both emerging and experienced leaders and includes 3 series of 6 consecutive seminars (on-site) and supervision sessions (online).

Features of the program for leadership development:

  • A group of (emerging) leaders of approximately 6 to 12 people experiences the workshops together
  • Each of the 6 modules has a topic that is immediately practiced:
    • The on-site module seminar lasts 2.5 hours (followed by 30 minutes for a meet-after)
    • In the seminar, a topic is addressed with theory and exercises in a safe space
    • In the two weeks leading up to the supervision session, participants have the opportunity to try out the exercises within their own teams
    • In the online supervision session (1.5 hours), experiences are shared in the group and guidance is provided
  • The modules build on each other thematically, as do the series:
    • The first series, “Leadership and Cooperation,” provides theory and tools that align with the professional attitude that defines effective and person-centered leadership.
    • The second series, “Self-Management and Pull,” deepens the knowledge and especially the practical experience.
    • The third series, “Dojo,” focuses on cases from the participants, such as dealing with ‘difficult’ employees or challenges with supervisors.
  • Parallel to the seminar series, coaching sessions are optionally offered, providing additional support for the development of individual leaders.

Experience with the program has shown the following:

  • Participants feel more confident in their leadership competence
  • The often new approach opens up new possibilities for leadership and collaboration
  • Collaboration across departments and divisions improves
  • Participants grow together as a team; often a self-organized, regular exchange is established afterward
